What is scouts?

• The Boy Scouts of America is an organization that “provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.”

How do I join scouts?

• The easiest way is to visit our next troop meeting and ask the Scoutmaster.  He’ll give you an application, and introduce you to the scouts running the meeting.  They will make you feel welcome and you’ll get to participate from the moment you get there.  Fill out the application, have one of your parents sign it, and bring it to the next meeting with the registration fee.
